Crash involving horses creates backup on I-70

One lane of I-70 is still closed after a crash involving an 18-wheeler and a horse trailer.

Crews responded to a two vehicle accident around 10 this morning.

According to fire crews on scene, the 18-wheeler had slowed down for traffic and was rear ended by the truck behind him.

One man was transported to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
