Crash blocks traffic in downtown Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A crash temporarily blocked traffic in downtown Columbia on Thursday night.

According to a notification from Boone County Joint Communications, the wreck happened just after 7 p.m. on E. Broadway at Waugh Street.

The alert said the crash shut down both lanes of E. Broadway and urged drivers to avoid the area.

The road reopened around 7: 35 p.m.

ABC 17 News saw two police vehicles at the scene. We've asked the police department for more information.
