New Columbia fire chief holds meet and greet

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The new leader of the Columbia Fire Department met with members of the community Wednesday morning.

City Manager John Glascock announced the Andy Woody as the next chief of the Columbia Fire Department in December. His first day was Jan. 13.

Woody previously served as fire chief in Searcy, Arkansas. During his career, he also served as an adjunct instructor with the University of Missouri Fire and Rescue Training Institute.
