Chiefs beat Chargers, lock up No. 2 seed

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers, 31-21, on Sunday afternoon.

The Chiefs will be the No. 2 seed in the playoffs thanks to a Miami win over New England. The Dolphins upset the Patriots, 27-24. in Foxborough, Mass.

Kansas City will get a first-round bye in the playoffs. The Chiefs will host the highest seed remaining in the AFC after next week's Wild Card games.

Patrick Mahomes was 16/25 for 174 yards. The reigning MVP threw one touchdown and one interception. Running back Damien Williams ran the ball 12 times for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
