Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism told ABC17 News they did not respond to the fire. He said the Missouri State Highway Patrol handled the incident.

ABC17 crews on the scene saw officals working to clean up the damage around 11:30 this morning.

Traffic was moving slow and the exit was still closed at the time.

ABC17 has reached out to both the Missouri State Highway Patrol and North Callaway County Fire Protection district for more information.

It's unclear if anyone was hurt in the fire and when the exit will be reopened.
