COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Boone County prosecutors charged Zechariah Williams on Thursday with statutory sodomy of a person younger than 12 years old.

According to court documents, investigators interviewed the victim, who detailed the alleged assault. The probable cause statements says Williams blew marijuana smoke into the child's mouth. Documents show the incident happened in central Columbia on Wednesday.

According to court documents, Williams has an active warrant out of St. Louis. Documents said Williams was accused of third-degree assault. The same probable cause statement shows Columbia police arrested him in May for possession of a stolen firearm.

Online court records show he is wanted on a no bond warrant in Boone County.
