Tracking storms tonight, Summer’s last breath this week?
TONIGHT: Several waves of storms are likely across mid-Missouri tonight. Thankfully the severe weather threat looks limited, however, some minor flooding is possible across our western counties. Be mind of that later tonight. Storms will tend to end by sunrise Sunday. Low near 70.
SUNDAY: While most storms are set to finish up tonight, a few leftover storms, especially north of I-70 will be possible through 10am. Beyond that, things will dry out Sunday and strong southerly flow takes over, keeping us hot and humid into the afternoon. Temps will be in the mid-to-upper 80s.
EXTENDED: That same type of heat sticks around til Wednesday before our next cold front moves in, bringing what looks like an and to summer temperatures. Much cooler weather arrives Thursday and Friday as highs may struggle to get out of the 60s with night time lows into the upper 40s and low 50s next weekend.
