Calm weather moving in for the middle of the week
WEDNESDAY: We’ll have some passing clouds here and there as temperatures make it back into the middle 80s this afternoon. Winds out of the northwest will continue to move some drier air into the region, so things will feel more tolerable.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy overnight with temperatures falling into the middle 60s .
EXTENDED: High pressure takes hold at the surface through Thursday, with a few upper level waves of energy moving through the area through the end of the week into the weekend. These pulses, along with a weak cold front Sunday into Monday will bring rain chances from Thursday night on through Sunday. Timing and placement are still uncertain this far out, but plan for parts of the area to see rain each day. Areas along and north of I-70 will see the most rain over the next 7 days.
