Ashland man turns self in after rape charges
An Ashland man turned himself in to Boone County authorities Monday after he was charged with first-degree statutory rape.
The incidents began in 2015, and the 13-year-old victim told authorities that Christian J. Wynn had sex with her two to three times per week since 2015.
The Children’s Division originally contacted the Ashland Police Department at the beginning of July in reference to the case. Wynn was charged with the crime earlier this month, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Wynn turned himself in to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office on Monday. His bond was set at $100,000.
