Enjoyable Summer weather visits this afternoon
TUESDAY: Beautiful day in store! Temperatures reach the low 80s for afternoon highs. Winds will remain out of the north around 5 -10 mph .
TONIGHT: Mostly clear overhead as lows fall back into the low 60s .
EXTENDED: The rest of the week we will be on the eastern edge of an upper-level ridge that will act to turn a couple of disturbances our way in the second half of this week. Timing isn’t quite clear, but rain and storms will be possible from Thursday through Saturday with temperatures slowly warming. Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri look to be the favored locations in some of the latest data but that can always slide based on where this ridge sets up.
