Boone County Fair kicks off Tuesday afternoon in Sturgeon
The Boone County Fair will open for admission at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, kicking off with the carnival and other events.
The fairgrounds are located in Sturgeon on West Jones Street.
Ticket prices Tuesday through Thursday are $10 and Friday through Saturday ticket prices are $15. Children age 6 and under are free. Ticket fees include parking, rides and festivities.
Tuesday Fair festivities include the following:
4 p.m. – Carnival starts 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. – Kids Zone 6 p.m. – Baby Contest 6 p.m. – Little Mister & Miss Contest at Fairgrounds 6 p.m. – Meat Goat Show 7 p.m. – Boone County Fair Pageant
