On and off storms over the holiday weekend

TONIGHT: Isolated storms, mostly cloudy. Lows in the low 70s.

FRIDAY: Scattered storms in the morning and afternoon. Some could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Highs in the mid-80s.

EXTENDED: We will get a lull in storms Friday night before a cold front approaches from the north on Saturday, triggering scattered showers and thunderstorms yet again during the day. As the front slides south on Sunday, it will take the humid air with it and storm chances decrease into late Sunday. Rain and storm chances remain low next week, and temperatures will be seasonable in the upper 80s to around 90 each day.
