Storms diminish, heat and humidity build again for the weekend

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows near 70.

SATURDAY: Hot and humid with highs in the low 90s. Heat index between 97-100.

EXTENDED: We remain largely quiet with an upper level area of high pressure blocking any significant disturbances from moving into the region. Highs will be in the low 90s with a heat index near 100 each day into early next week. The pattern starts to break down late next week with low rain chances and slightly cooler temperatures as we approach the 4th of July.
