Man convicted of killing Tipton teen sentenced to 7 years

A California, Missouri, man who was convicted of first-degree involuntary manslaughter and armed criminal action in February was sentenced on Thursday.

Travis Clark was found guilty of killing Robert Asbaugh in 2016 in the 400 block of Railroad Avenue in Tipton.

Clark was sentenced to seven years in prison for involuntary manslaughter and six years for armed criminal action. Those sentences will be served concurrently, meaning he will serve seven years in prison.

His sentence was what the jury recommended when he was found guilty in March.
