Lincoln University approves tuition, room and board increases
Tuition and costs for Lincoln University students will increase in the fall after changes were approved by the school’s Board of Curators.
On Friday, the university announced tuition will be increased by 4%, and costs for room and board will go up 3%. Base tuition will be just $7,309 with the changes.
Room and board rates for summer students will also go up by 3% starting in 2020, according to a news release.
The increase in cost for food services is due to an expected increase from the university’s provider, Sodexo.
The Board of Curators also approved a contract extension for the LU President, Dr. Jerald Woolfolk, through 2024.
