Two people have been taken to the hospital after a single vehicle crash Saturday evening.

The car traveled off the left side of the road, went airborne and struck a tree near Harris Lane in Pulaski County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Report.

The report said the driver, 19-year-old Kenzy Smith and passenger, 17-year-old McKayla Selvage, were ejected from the car and neither was wearing a seatbelt.

The highway patrol said Smith sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital by helicopter.
