One person drives into flood waters in Boone County

At least one person has driven into flood waters and gotten their vehicle stuck in Boone County.

ABC 17 News confirmed that Boone County firefighters responded to a water rescue in the area of West Highway 40 and Rocheport Gravel Road Sunday afternoon.

No one was hurt, and firefighters said the occupant was able to walk out of the vehicle safely.

Highway 40 is still closed due to flooding.
