Limited rain chances Memorial Day, Eyes turn to Tuesday for next severe threat

TONIGHT: A weak warm front is poised to track through the region early tomorrow morning. Some spot storms are possible out the door in the morning between 5am & 10am. Lows fall into the low 70s overnight.

MEMORIAL DAY: After a chance for spot storms early in the morning, much of the day looks dry, breezy, warm and humid. Will certainly feel like a summer’s day for many of us. Temperatures top out in the mid-to-upper 80s.

EXTENDED: As we head back to work, we’re tracking the final act of the multiple rounds of storms we’ve seen over the past 7 days. At this point in time, due to the timing of the system, we may be able to skirt away from a higher severe threat. At this point, Tuesday evening after 6pm looks to be the best chance for scattered severe storms. The main modes look to be damaging wind gusts and hail. An isolated tornado can’t be ruled out. We’ll continue tracking that risk over the next few days. Stick with ABC 17 to get the latest details.
