Daily storm chances through Wednesday, a break in the stormy pattern in sight

SUNDAY: Spotty showers have moved through Mid-Missouri this morning, focused mostly along and north of I-70 while the rest of the region has faired mostly dry. It will be mostly dry this afternoon, warm & muggy with temps in the low 80s .

TONIGHT: Another weak wave of low pressure is poised to track through the region late tonight, that may bring a couple showers or storms to Mid-Missouri early Memorial day morning. It will very warm and humid with temperatures in the mid 80s .

EXTENDED: Our best chance of staying dry this weekend moves in Monday as the upper-level ridge builds back in, snuffing out most of our rain chances. Temperatures top out in the middle 80s . The first half of Tuesday will stay dry, but we’ll see a more organized system move in later in the day. This will bring the chances of rain back to Mid-Missouri Tuesday afternoon and could stick around into Wednesday, as temperatures cool down toward the end of the week.
