More heavy rain likely to prolong flooding problems
TONIGHT: More storms look to move in this evening again, and some could be strong to severe with hail and wind being the biggest threats. The severe threat will diminish through the overnight hours, but we’ll still be picking up unneeded rain with lows falling into the upper 60s
SUNDAY: We’ll see showers into the morning hours tomorrow, but moving out. Temperatures in the afternoon top out in the low to mid 80s once again, with a chance we see more storms popping back up in the heat of the day.
EXTENDED: Our best chance of staying dry this weekend moves in Monday as the upper-level ridge builds back in, snuffing out most of our rain chances. Temperatures top out in the middle 80s . The first half of Tuesday will stay dry, but we’ll see a more organized system move in later in the day. This will bring the chances of rain back to Mid-Missouri Tuesday afternoon and could stick around into Wednesday, as temperatures cool down toward the end of the week.
