Mizzou gives all clear after MU Alert
UPDATE: MUPD has given the all clear.
The university tweeted that they have identified the individual involved, and spoken with him.
There is no danger to campus.
ORIGINAL STORY: The University of Missouri is warning people to stay away from the area of Hitt Street and University Avenue.
According to an MU Alert, there is a person with a gun near the area. No shots have been reported.
The suspect has been described as a white man between 25 and 40-years-old. He’s wearing a white shirt, baseball cap, and has a handgun in his waistband.
He has not made any threats.
MUPD and CPD are responding.
