Natural gas pipeline in Audrain County operating normally

The company that operates a natural gas pipeline in Audrain County confirmed Friday that the pipeline is operating normally.

A spokeswoman for Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company told ABC 17 News that crews did investigate a possible issue.

According to officials with the company, the investigation confirmed bubbles found were not connected to its pipeline.

The spokeswoman said crews are continuing to conduct aerial surveys of the pipeline.

Repairs were made to the natural gas pipeline after a section of it exploded near State Highway 15, north of Mexico, Missouri, in early March.

No one was hurt in the explosion.
