Isolated storms, heavy rain possible this morning

*A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for all of Mid-Missouri until Thursday night*

THURSDAY: Showers linger into the morning commute with heavy downpours and small hail. There will be a drying trend through the afternoon, with showers and storms continuing along and south of I-44 in the afternoon. Clouds hold, and highs stay in the upper 60s.

TONIGHT: Under partly cloudy skies we stay mostly dry through the night. Temperatures dip into the low 50s with a slight breeze out of the northeast.

EXTENDED: A few showers will be possible on Friday, but we warm into the upper 70s over the weekend. Luckily rain chances are limited for the weekend with sunshine returning. The dry time doesn’t last long as southwesterly flow returns bringing in an active start to next week.
