Keeping rain chances through the end of the week

*A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for all of Mid-Missouri until Thursday morning*

TODAY Skies dry in the morning with clouds lingering during the day. Scattered thunderstorms are possible toward late afternoon and evening, and some could be strong with wind and hail along with heavy rain. Highs reach the low 70s. :

Scattered storms will increase again tonight with the potential of heavy rainfall through the night. Temperatures drop into the low 60s with winds shifting out of the northeast up to 8 mph. TONIGHT:

Rain and storms linger into the morning commute Thursday. The band of storms will slowly pull east through the morning as we begin to dry through Thursday afternoon. Clouds stick around with highs near 70. A few showers will be possible on Friday, but we warm into the upper 70s over the weekend. Luckily rain chances are limited for the weekend with sunshine returning. The dry time doesn’t last long as southwesterly flow returns bringing in an active start to next week. EXTENDED:
