Strong storms, flooding likely through tonight

*A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for all of Mid-Missouri until Thursday morning*

TONIGHT: Scattered thunderstorms continue to track northeast through early evening and will pose a hail and tornado threat. Later in the evening into the overnight hours, heavy rain and damaging winds will be possible with a large complex of storms. Rain and storms will slide southeast after midnight. Lows fall into the low 60s.

WEDNESDAY: Skies dry in the morning with clouds lingering during the day. Scattered thunderstorms are possible toward late afternoon and evening, and some could be strong with wind and hail along with heavy rain. Highs reach the low 70s.

EXTENDED: Rain and storms diminish and exit southeast early on Thursday. A few showers will be possible on Friday, but we warm into the upper 70s over the weekend.
