Seasonal home in lake area catches fire
A seasonal home in the lake area of Gravois Mills went up in flames early Monday morning. Fire officials were still investigating the cause of the fire.
No one was home at the time the fire broke out just after midnight at the home in the 32000 block of Island View off of Highway O.
When fire officials arrived on scene, the home was 75 percent involved in the fire, according to officials with the Gravois Fire Protection District. One firefighter injured a leg and was being evaluated Monday morning, the district said.
Sunrise Beach, Versailles Rural and Rocky Mount Fire Protection District assisted in putting out the fire.
