Woman dead following Pettis County crash
A woman has died following a crash in Pettis County on April 14.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Mericia M. Wilbanks, 19, of Sedalia, went off the road near Highway U and McCormick Road and hit a tree around 7 a.m.
Wilbanks was taken to Research Medical Center in Kansas City.
Doctors at the hospital pronounced Wilbanks dead around 3:30 p.m. April 18.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
Visitation and funeral services for Wilbanks will take place Saturday.
