Sunshine returns today, before active weather continues into next week
TODAY: After a cool start, we warm back into the upper 60s with sunny skies returning! It will be breezy with gusts out of the northwest up to 25 mph. Clouds gradually increase in the evening.
TONIGHT: As clouds build through the night winds will flip out of the southeast up to 10 mph. Low temperatures will drop towards 50 degrees. Through the night we stay dry, but we will be tracking an approaching system to arrive by early Saturday morning.
EXTENDED: Showers and a few thunderstorms are possible early on Saturday, moving out by early afternoon. With rain clearing the area late day sunshine can be expected Saturday. Highs will drop from around 70 on Saturday to the low 60s on Sunday. Sunday is dry with partly sunny skies, but showers and storms move back in after midnight into Monday. Next week looks active with chances for showers and/or storms each day. Heavy rain is possible at times, with 2-3″ possible in a week’s time.
