Man dies in Callaway County motorcycle crash
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said that a Jefferson City man died on Friday when he ran off the side of a Callaway County road.
A crash report indicates that John A. Nelson, 65, went off the right side of Route J near County Road 356 and overturned on his Honda motorcycle. The crash report said that the motorcycle hit a sign post before coming to a stop.
The report does not say what caused Nelson to drive off the side of Route J.
The patrol said Nelson’s death was the fourth one on Troop F highways in April, and the 12th death of 2019.
