Callaway County man faces multiple molestation charges

A Fulton man faces multiple counts of molestation after allegedly assaulting a child for years.

Samuel Langdon, 62, was charged last month in connection with a molestation investigation. According to a child abused by Langdon, the assault started January 2017 and continued until March of this year.

Apparently the multiple instances of abuse would happen at the child’s home and at Langdon’s residence. Court documents said Langdon took the minor on a vacation and assaulted the victim, “any chance he could get.”

Langdon told the victim not to tell anyone about the abuse, or others would be disappointed and that Langdon would go to jail for a long time. The child would allegedly tell Langdon to stop, he continued and would become more aggressive.

He faces four counts of first-degree child molestation.
