Columbia man accused of child sex crimes in custody
A Columbia man accused of child sex crimes was taken into custody on Tuesday.
According to court documents, William L. Breedlove, 56, was accused of inappropriately touching a 6-year-old girl multiple times. The incidents allegedly took place at a home in the 700 block of Sexton Road.
The victim told police Breedlove started touching her inappropriately when she was 5 years old.
Breedlove was charged with statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy and is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond in the Boone County Jail.
