Minimal rain chances with cooler temperatures the next couple of days

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a chance of scattered showers and a thunderstorm south of I-70. Most stay dry, but it’s still cool with highs in the mid-60s.

TONIGHT: Clouds hold on through the night with spot showers possible. Temperatures will fall back into the low 50s by early Tuesday morning as winds transition out of the northeast.

EXTENDED: A cold front slowly sliding through the region will bring isolated rain chances through early Thursday. Most of us stay dry, but areas south of HWY 50 have the best chance of seeing any rain this week. Another front approaches by the weekend, bringing a chance for shower and storms by Saturday. Temperatures remain comfortable through the weekend before another chance for rain arrives Saturday evening.
