Columbia man accused of shooting gun while intoxicated could face charges

A man arrested Sunday night following a shooting in northeast Columbia could face charges.

Justin Michael-Thomas Jones, 35, of Columbia, was arrested on a charge of unlawful use of a weapon while intoxicated around 9:40 p.m. at a home in the 1600 block of Ballenger Lane.

Police said officers found a bullet casing in the area after receiving reports of a shooting.
