Federal felon arrested in Randolph County
A man with two United States extradition felony warrants for his arrest was taken into custody in Randolph County Friday.
The Moberly Police Department received information from the FBI in Omaha, Nebraska, that Isaiah Patterson was in the Moberly area. Police then learned Patterson had warrants out for sex trafficking of a minor along with second-degree burglary and weapons charges.
An officer saw Patterson in the passenger seat of a vehicle near Morley Street at Union Avenue and initiated a traffic stop. Patterson was taken into custody without incident.
One of Patterson’s warrants doesn’t yield a bond, so he was taken to the Randolph County Justice Center to wait for extradition. New charges were forwarded to the Randolph County prosecutor for Patterson being a fugitive out of state. Those charges require a $20,000 cash-only bond.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Randolph County Sheriff’s Office, and Shelbina Police Department K-9 assisted in locating Patterson and taking him into custody.
