Porter has reportedly hired an agent, but he would be able to return based on the new rules regarding NBA players declaring.

Porter averaged 10 points and seven rebounds per game as a freshman. He appeared in all 33 games for the Tigers in his first season at MU. The former Father Tolton High School standout started for the Tigers seven times.

Porter missed the entire last season due to a torn ACL and MCL. He first tore his ACL and MCL during an exhibition game before the season that forced him to miss his entire sophomore year.

Porter then tore his ACL again in March. The second injury happened while training in Denver where he was rehabbing. He was not cleared for activity when the injury happened.

As a freshman, he was the SEC Co-Sixth Man of the Year and a member of the SEC All-Freshman Team.

Porter could become Mizzou’s 46th player selected in the NBA Draft in program history and the second in as many years, joining his brother Michael Porter, Jr., who was selected by the Denver Nuggets with the 14 th pick of the 2018 NBA Draft. Heading in to the 2019 NBA Draft, Martin has had eight players selected in the last five seasons, including three at Tennessee, four at California-Berkeley and Porter Jr. at Mizzou.

The NBA Draft takes place June 20th.
