Body found inside barrel in Gasconade River identified as a man
The sex of a body found in a barrel in the Gasconade River last week has been identified.
According to the Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office, the human remains were identified as belonging to a man.
The Boone County Medical Examiner’s Office hasn’t been able to identify who the man was.
Deputies found the barrel stuck on a boat ramp to the Gasconade River in Gasconade on April 12.
The medical examiner’s office discovered the human remains Monday after the barrel was taken to Columbia.
