Strong storms possible Wednesday night, beautiful Easter weekend
TONIGHT:We’ll see more clouds build in this evening with winds remaining out of the south. That will keep us mild overnight in the low 60s.
WEDNESDAY: Clouds hold during much of the day but highs still soar to near 80 degrees with breezy southwest winds. Storms arrive late and could be strong to severe.
EXTENDED: The ABC 17 StormTrack Weather Team has issued Weather Alert Day for Wednesday night ahead of a chance for strong storms. The Storm Prediction Center has us in a slight risk for severe weather through early Thursday morning. The main threats will be damaging winds with the line of storms, as well as large hail up to 1″ in diameter. Storms will linger into the overnight hours and the severe threat will diminish by sunrise Thursday. Thursday and Friday will be cooler with highs in the upper 50s to around 60. Easter weekend looks gorgeous with sunshine and highs in the 70s.
