Deadly crash closes westbound I-70 in Callaway County
UPDATE: The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated a fatal crash on I-70 in Callaway County Tuesday afternoon.
The driver, Oscar Serrano-Guevara of Costa Mesa, California, drove into the median near mile marker 142 after one of tires became flat. The car overturned after hitting the median cable, according to the MSHP crash report.
Serrano-Guevara was pronounced dead at University Hospital. He was 42.
The only passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was not transported to a hospital. Both occupants were wearing a seat belt.
The crash is the eleventh fatality for Troop F of the Highway Patrol this year.

ORIGINAL STORY: Crews have closed the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 in Callaway County due to a deadly vehicle crash Tuesday.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol told ABC 17 News the crash involved one vehicle near mile marker 142 west of Kingdom City.
According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, the crash happened around 1:05 p.m.
MoDOT said drivers should expect the closure to last about an hour.
Callaway County Sheriff Clay Chism told ABC 17 News his agency is helping the Missouri State Highway Patrol divert westbound traffic around the crash.
The name of the driver or what caused this crash hasn’t been released.
