Car hits electric pole in Columbia

A car hit an electric pole and caused a small power outage just after 2:30 Sunday morning in Columbia.

Boone Electric Cooperative said crews were dispatched to the 2400 block of Rock Quarry Road to fix the damage to a pole in the area.

A spokesperson said the outage affected a handful of Boone Electric Cooperative customers.
