Portland man faces felony drug charges
A Portland, Missouri man faces felony drug charges after he was arrested Thursday afternoon in Callaway County.
According to a news release, Joseph Meidel, 52, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant in the 10000 block of State Highway 94 in reference to a criminal investigation.
Meidel was transported to the Callaway County Jail on a $5,500.00 bond.
Deputies said the investigation is ongoing with further arrests and/or charges possible.
