Mexico Department of Public Safety investigates burglaries
One person is in custody after burglaries in and around Mexico, according to the Mexico Department of Public Safety.
The department said in a post on Facebook Friday that officers responded to a business in the Central Business District at the end of March after it was burglarized.
Officers discovered the crime was linked to other cases outside of Mexico.
Last weekend, the same business was burglarized again, officers said. The department arrested four suspects. One of the suspects was taken to the Audrain County jail for outstanding warrants and the other three were released pending warrants, authorities said.
The Mexico Department of Public Safety said the person booked has posted bond.
