Belle man dies in motorcycle crash
A Belle man died Wednesday night when his motorcycle went off the road and hit a large hay bale in Maries County.
Jason Roberds, 40, was riding his 2001 Harley-Davidson on Route Z about 3 miles west of Highway 28 when the motorcyle went off the road, hit a ditch, overturned and hit the hay bale, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said in an online crash report.
Roberds was pronounced dead at the scene by the Maries County coroner.
