Gas leak closes off downtown Columbia streets
Columbia fire officials responded to a gas leak on Windsor Street between Ann Street and Williams Street Tuesday morning.
A contracting company dug into the Ameren gas main on Windsor Street, an Ameren spokeswoman said.
About 48 customers were affected, and Ameren expected the main to be repaired by noon.
