Crews respond to fire in Cooper County
Several fire departments worked a house fire near Pilot Grove Monday night, officials said.
The Cooper County Fire Protection District said it sent personnel down to assist with man power and the Cooper County Emergency Management Agency also responded.
The fire happened at a home on 135 between Pilot Grove and Clifton City, according to the Cooper County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said a neighbor reported the fire and the residents were not home at the time.
The Sheriff’s Office said Pilot Grove Rural Fire Protection District, Otterville Fire Protection District and Clifton City Fire Department also responded to the scene.
