Starting the week out on a good note, More rain and cold air as we close it out

TONIGHT: Afternoon/evening storms will continue to clear out by the later evening hours. We’ll be a bit cooler overnight as temperatures drop into the low 50s. Skies clearing overnight. Westerly breezes steady between 6-10 mph.

MONDAY: It’s an absolutely gorgeous start to the work week with temperatures back into the mid 70s tomorrow afternoon. There will also be a touch less humidity in the atmosphere as well. A mix of clouds and sunshine can be expected throughout the day. Winds will be out of the northeast up to 8 mph.

EXTENDED: Nice weather extends into Tuesday. We’ll see temps in the low to mid 70s with a generous helping of sunshine. We’re tracking another warm and humd day on Wednesday as a warm front lifts through the area. Temperatures will likely make another run for 80 degrees. A powerful upper level low will deepen over the upper-midwest bringing tons of snow to places like South Dakota and Minnesota. We’re in the warm sector in Mid-MO, we’ll see rain and thunderstorm chances Wednesday night into Thursday. Much colder weather takes back over at the end of the week. We’ll likely struggle to get out of the 40s Friday, lows are back in the 30s into the weekend.
