Mid-Missouri Business Week: Assistance League of Mid-Missouri helps women and children in need
Assistance League of Mid-Missouri is a non-profit organization that helps women and children in need in Columbia.
“We may be the vehicle to serve these women,” said president Sue McDaniel, “but without this community we wouldn’t exist.”
The organization operates several philanthropic programs including Upscale Rescale, a donation based store for women and children to shop.
ALMM also supports Operation School Bell which offers new school clothes and winter coats for children to help them not feel isolated by their circumstances.
