Vehicle runs into Columbia residence

The Columbia Fire Department and Columbia Police Department responded to a vehicle running into a building on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened at Worley Street and Garth Avenue, and the vehicle ran into a residence as it was pulling into the garage, said CFD spokesman Brad Frazier.

Building and Site Development officials were inspecting the building.

No injuries were reported, Frazier said.

Part of Garth Avenue was closed down for about an hour Wednesday afternoon.
