Mark Anderson leaves Jefferson City for head coaching job at Boonville
Mark Anderson announced he stepped down as the head coach of the Jefferson City boys basketball team and will be the next head coach for Boonville boys basketball.

Anderson coached two seasons with the Jays and went 21-28 the past two years. The Jays lost in the first round of the district tournament last season.
Prior to coaching at Jefferson City, Anderson coached seven seasons with Moberly high school. There, he compiled a record of 125-54 and a district title in 2015.
