Foul play not suspected after body recovered from Missouri River in Saline County

Foul play isn’t suspected after a man’s body was recovered from the Missouri River in Saline County.

According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, the body of a white male between the ages of 30 to 40 was found near Malta Bend on Sunday.

Deputies said the body was in an advanced state of decomposition.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Saline County Sheriff’s Department are working to identify the man.
