Missouri River again hits ‘moderate flood stage’ in Jefferson City

The Missouri River in Jefferson City was measured at a moderate flood stage Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS rates the river in Missouri’s capital city as flood stage at 23 feet, and the water level Wednesday morning was measured at 26.24 feet.

The projection at that time showed the river cresting into Thursday at a depth of 26.5 feet.
